Comfortable room, clean shower, with a great location close to attractions and free parking available for ease of exploring the city.
No drawbacks at all.

The room had good tea and coffee facilities.
The security system felt inadequate as the entrance was easily accessible without a key card.

We loved our stay here, especially exploring the local attractions like the Borough Theatre and the Abergavenny Museum and Castle. The location was perfect for us traveling with 5 teenagers and 2 children, providing easy access to cultural highlights and enjoyable evening entertainment.
For dads, it would be great if they improved the cleanliness. My kids wished for better hygiene standards in the rooms.

I had a cracking breakfast with eggs cooked to perfection and a proper tasty coffee to kickstart the day. The room itself was excellent—spacious, comfy, and boasting a lovely view of the garden. The shower was another highlight with its refreshing rainfall feature, which turned my morning into a mini spa experience.
I feel the room was let down by the conditions in the lobby and common hallway. The carpet had obviously not been hoovered for a while, and there was litter scattered outside. The front door felt a bit insecure, overshadowing what was otherwise a superb room experience.

The family suite offered a large, well-lit space, making it comfortable for our stay. The water pressure in the shower was impressive, although there were issues with mouldy grout and a smelly shower curtain. One highlight was the convenient location, which provided access to a nearby service station for meals, including half-price Burger King for hotel guests. clean accommodations at a decent price, but maintenance in the bathroom needs attention.

the location was pretty good, right by the motorway so easy to get to n there were food places close by. the room was spacious and warm, really comfy for a solo traveler like me. staff were friendly, and check in was easy, just at a nearby shop. loved having a big tv in my room, made my stay more chill.
there was some mould in the bathroom ceiling and the mattress wasn't soft enough for me. also, I noticed a bit of litter outside which could be cleaner.

Cozy rooms despite some quirks
So the hotel wasn’t the prettiest from the outside, and the check-in process was a bit weird. Had to get our keys from the shop! But the room? Super spacious and comfy with a nice sofa to chill on. The bathroom was great too, just no food options, unless you wanna hit up the Burger King nearby. A bit of dirt in places though.

The Family Suite was spacious and generally clean, but the carpet could definitely use a vacuum. The shower was decent, with good pressure, but there were some maintenance issues like litter outside. the tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch. For £50, it was about what you’d expect from a budget hotel but could benefit from some TLC.

The hotel provided great value for money with spacious rooms, but the cleanliness was below standard, especially in common areas. Check-in being at the ASDA was a bit odd, and the lack of on-site staff was inconvenient. the shower was excellent and useful for a quick stopover.

The room featured a spacious layout that could easily accommodate two people without feeling cramped, making it comfortable for a longer stay. The location, despite the tricky postcode navigation, offered a quiet relief from busy streets, perfect for gearing up for a new adventure.
I encountered some serious cleanliness issues. the toilet assist for disabled guests had rust spots, and little bits of rust scattered on the floor were a huge turn-off. Stains on the carpets both in my room and in common areas suggested a long overlook on maintenance, which could use urgent attention. the communication regarding directions could use improvement, as I wasted quite a bit of time trying to locate the place due to the misleading postcode.
